English Idioms and their Meanings
Being an Irish 'Gringa' in Brazil, I began teaching English soon after I arrived. When I stopped to think about some English idioms and their literal meaning, I found some of them to be very funny and thought it would be nice to pick a few of the most common idioms and illustrate them in a fun and comical way. This project received numerous views online, with over quarter of a million views on the Bored Panda website and was also shared on websites around the world, including The India Times, Amy Poelher's Smart Girls and Design Taxi, to name just a few.
